This morning I shared with XXX that I have accepted a new opportunity outside of Earthbound, and I wanted to reach out to you directly to thank you for everything over the past five years of working together. While I’m excited for what’s ahead, it’s very important to me to reflect on my time here and sincerely thank you. These past five years have been the most meaningful and formative of my professional life, and today feels very bittersweet.

When I first joined, I could not have imagined everything we would accomplish together or how much I would learn and grow here. I’ve been challenged, supported, and encouraged in ways that have shaped me not only as a designer but also as a professional and a person. Your leadership at Earthbound has shown me the type of leader I strive to be: strong, passionate, creative, joyful, and empathetic. The products we created together over the past five years, and the memories we’ve shared, often at an airport ;), I will carry with me always. While I am excited about the opportunity ahead, I will deeply miss working alongside such talented, passionate, and inspiring people. I truly hope our paths will cross again, and I hope I have the chance to work together with you in the future.
